Nutty Chocolate Balls Recipe
If you suffer from ‘Chocolate Craving’ then this is the perfect solution for you. Chocolaty, nutty, sweet (but not too sweet) and of course, healthy and delicious. Replace normal chocolate with a few of these nutritious chocolate balls and enjoy your guilt-free snack.
This recipe makes about 20 chocolate balls (depending on size). Feel free to replace the honey with maple sirup. Use different nuts or add protein powder if you prefer chocolate protein balls.
Preparation Time: 10-15 min
Ingredients:
½ raw almonds
½ raw peanuts
20 pitted dates
3 tbsp honey
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 heaped tbsp cacao powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp almond extract (optional)

Cacao powder, shredded coconut and LSA (=Linseed, Sunflower Seed and Almond Mix) for coating
Preparation:
1) Put the almonds and peanuts into a food processor and blend until smooth.
2) Add in the dates, blend and press turbo a few times.
3) Add all the other ingredients and blend until your desired texture is achieved.
4) Roll mixture into small balls (we recommend tablespoon size, but totally up to you) and coat with cacao powder, shredded coconut and LSA or whatever you come up with 😉
5) Enjoy. Keep leftover balls in airtight container in the fridge and consume within 1 week.
