Spicy Beetroot And Apple Juice Recipe
Beetroot, naturally rich in nitrates, is one of the superfoods on our planet. It can improve blood flow, blood pressure, stamina and much more. Now combine this wonder root with the benefits of apples, lemon, ginger, mint, and thyme! Still not amazing enough for you? This recipe serves 2 people. Feel free to give the chili a miss if spicy isn’t for you. Even without, it’s still super delicious!
Preparation Time: 10 min
Ingredients:
2 large beetroot
2 Pink Lady apples
1 lemon
1 bunch mint
1 tsp crushed ginger
½ small bunch thyme
1 small red chili
Preparation:
1) Peel beetroot and cut beetroot, apple and lemon into smaller pieces. Pick mint and thyme leaves. Remove pedicel and seeds from chili.
2) Juice beetroot, apple and lemon following the instructions of your juicer manual.
3) For best outcome, mix all the ingredients (including beetroot, apple and lemon juice) in a blender until leaves, chili and ginger have blended in. (Alternatively, you can use the juicer for everything.)
4) Pour juice into 2 glasses with ice cubes. Drink immediately and enjoy.
